•The headline and the opening paragraph of a story in Friday's Metro section incorrectly referred to Laura J. Obzera as a school nurse at Wood View Elementary School in Bolingbrook. Obzera, who was arrested Thursday on charges of three counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse for allegedly having sexual relations with three teen boys, is not a certified school nurse. She is a health assistant, which requires less academic certification. Obzera, however, is a licensed practical nurse in Illinois.

•A story in Friday's Metro section misstated who will receive a $2.5 million settlement from the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago for sexual abuse suffered at the hands of former priest Daniel McCormack. The settlement went to one boy, and his brother's case is still pending.

•In West editions of Friday's Metro section, the continuation of a story about Commonwealth Edison cutting down trees in Burr Ridge was inadvertently omitted. The complete story is online at chicagotribune.com/trees.

•The In the 'Burbs feature in this week's On the Town section has an incorrect date for the Abigail Washburn concert. The show is today.

•A story in some editions of Thursday's Metro section incorrectly described the proposed Social Justice High School-Pride Campus as a charter school. In fact, the school is proposed to be a different type of school called a "performance school."

•A Metro story on Tuesday misspelled the last name of BEACON Academy student Rachel Kohn.
