The Tony Alamo Christian Ministries south of Texarkana was raided by police on Saturday, as part of 'a child pornography investigation and said they planned to remove several children from the complex.

Tony Alamo was already accused of child abuse in the past.

He was once accused of 'directing the beating of a church member's 11-year-old son. In 1994, he was sentenced to six years in prison on tax evasion charges filed in Memphis, Tennessee.'

Nonetheless, he can count on quite some supporters, nay followers, who are incredibly dependent on him. 'The judge in the tax case ordered him held pending sentencing after prosecutors argued that the evangelist was a flight risk and a polygamist who preyed on married women and girls in his congregation. U.S. District Judge Jon McCalla said he was concerned over "the very great control Mr. Alamo has over a number of people."'

This continues to this day.

No shots were fired during the raid. It is not known whether Alamo was present in the building at the time of the raid. One hopes he was, because this creep should be taken out of society and put somewhere where can hurt no one. He seems to be one of those men who manipulate easy victims, let them work for him, and who in the meantime steals, lies, and abuses as if 'right' and 'wrong' do not exist.
