CAMBRIDGE — The case alleging sexual misconduct on the part of former Lore City church priest, Gary Zalenski, was presented to the Guernsey County Grand Jury today.

Following presentation of testimony to the grand jury of Guernsey County, no indictment on Zalenski for sexual misconduct was returned.

Guernsey County Prosecuting Attorney Daniel G. Padden states that allegations made by the victim were fully investigated by the Guernsey County Sheriff's Office. As part of that investigation, Detective John Davis interviewed several individuals and various records were obtained and reviewed.

The grand jury considered all of the evidence and did not find probable cause to return an indictment against Zalenski.
