Donald McGuire, 78, is on trial in Illinois, accused of sexually abusing a young teenager whose mother sent him to live with the priest in 1999. The now 22-year-old testified that the abuse lasted through 2003. Two Phoenix men came forward earlier this year after learning that a Chicago man had levied similar accusations against McGuire. The brothers said they were molested between 1988 and 2002, when McGuire would stay with the family for Arizona retreats.
