CHICAGO - Members of Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, also known as SNAP, say Cardinal George is not keeping a promise he made when he said that a priest convicted of molestation would not return to Chicago.

Members of Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, also known as SNAP, say Cardinal George is not keeping a promise he made when he said that a priest convicted of molestation would not return to Chicago.

SNAP members passed out flyers Sunday morning in front of Holy Name Cathedral. They say they are upset over a Chicago Sun-Times report that Reverend Kenneth Martin from Delaware is doing consulting work for Liturgy Training Publications, a publishing company owned by the archdiocese.

SNAP President Barbara Blaine passes out flyers outside Holy Name Cathedral.

SNAP wants parishioners to complain to the archdiocese and to write to the pope.

"Cardinal George is not keeping his word. He is allowing Father Martin to work right here in this archdiocese, and we believe that it's reckless, it's deceitful, and it's needlessly putting children at risk," SNAP President Barbara Blaine said.

A spokesperson for the archdiocese said the priest is not an employee and also said questions on his status should be directed to the Liturgical Training division.
