Charleston, SC - A group of protesters gathered outside the Catholic Diocese of Charleston Monday afternoon.

They are part of SNAP, Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests.

The group says they haven't received compensation from a 2007 agreement, and want the Catholic church to pay them what it agreed to pay.

They say the fact that their case has stalled, is keeping them from getting on with their lives.

"My fellow victims feel like this extension in time is only hurting them worse and we need to put closure on this nightmare," Spokesman Larry Mullen said.

SNAP has filed a breach of contract lawsuit.

A Diocese spokesman says they haven't refused to pay, but instead can't pay because of a legal tie-up with that lawsuit, and won't be able to pay until it is addressed in court.
