There are new allegations of abuse involving the Catholic church. Lawyers are filing 22 lawsuits on behalf of Native Americans who claim they were victims of sexual and physical abuse while students at two South Dakota Indian boarding schools.

The lawsuits claim that both the Sioux Falls and Rapid City Catholic dioceses knew about the abuse at the hands of priests, brothers and nuns at the schools and did nothing to prevent it.

Lawyers say the abuse happened at St. Paul's School of Marty, which is now the Marty Indian School, and the St. Francis Indian School.
