Edward Arsenault is resigning his leadership posts with New Hampshire's Roman Catholic Diocese. Arsenault has been Bishop John McCormack's top lieutenant, handling the clergy sexual abuse crisis and being responsible for the church's new child protection policies. Arsenault, who is 46, says the resignation is voluntary. He will take a sabbatical before getting a new assignment from the bishop.
