	Statement Regarding Retired Bishop of Alaska Pokrov February 5, 2009 http://pokrov.org/display.asp?ds=Article&id=890 SYOSSET, NY [OCA Communications] -- The Orthodox Church in America has been served with a law suit filed by the retired Bishop of Alaska, Nikolai. Among other things, the charges of the suit involve allegations of wrongful termination and infliction of emotional distress. The Legal Committee of the Metropolitan Council has recommended OCA General Counsel Thaddeus Wojcik's firm to prepare a response to the law suit. On the behalf of the Holy Synod of Bishops, Metropolitan Jonah has sent an admonitory letter to Bishop Nikolai summoning him to meet with the Holy Synod.
