  Jury Deliberating in Monsey Rabbi's Sex Case

BROOKLYN - The jury is still deliberating in the case against Monsey Rabbi Israel Weingarten who is accused of molesting his daughter overseas.

Today, Judge John Gleeson of federal court was told that a verdict was reached on two counts, but it was deadlocked on three others.

Weingarten is charged with two counts of taking his daughter across the border with the intent to have sex with her and three counts of taking her across the border with the purpose of having sex with her.

He is defending himself in the case.
