Our hearts ache for this girl and her family. We desperately hope that anyone who saw, suspected or suffered from this clergyman's crimes will come forward, call police, get help, and protect others by courageously reporting to law enforcement as this brave but wounded girl has done. On Monday, the Rev. Freddie L. Parker was arraigned and released on a $10,000 bond. Adams County Sheriff’s Deputy Maj. Jody Waldrop said deputies became aware of the case when Parker's victim, now 15, came forward to file a complaint against Parker in February after giving birth to a child alleged to be his. Waldrop said a DNA test was done to establish paternity. “Based on evidence from the DNA tests, warrants were issued for his arrest,” Waldrop said. Waldrop said the girl reported she had been in a sexual relationship with Parker for several months, starting when she was 14. Additionally, the girl reported she and Parker had sexual relations in the church and in both of their houses, Waldrop said. Staff of the True Bibleway Church could not be reached for comment
