The priest attacked his lover on the second day of Orthodox Easter in the house they shared in a small mining village near Gornji Milanovac, local police said. The woman later sought medical help. The 57-year-old priest, who has a wife and family, is known for violence. He recently tried to attack his villagers with an axe, and police had already confiscated his gun.
