The man who killed an Austin priest in Nuevo Laredo now knows his fate for the brutal murder.
Manuel Martin Torres Saldana will spend 37-years behind bars for killing Pastor Jesse Euresti.
Torres Saldana heard his sentence Wednesday inside a prison cell at the Altamira, Tamaulipas lock-up.

The 37-years behind bars is the maximum sentence for murder.
A judge was able to sentence Torres Saldana so soon, because of his confession to the crime.
A confession included details of a gay relationship.
The killer was the caretaker of the priest's home
According to him father Euresti was his lover.
He claims he wanted him out of the home after he used drugs and couldn't have sex with him.
That's when an argument started which lead to the murder.
A few days later the priest's decomposing body was found under a mattress in a brushy area.
