Three more suits alleging child sexual abuse by a former Delaware priest were filed Thursday.

The suits, filed in Superior Court in Kent County, name the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington and Francis G. DeLuca as defendants.

DeLuca served as a diocesan priest for 35 years but was defrocked last summer by Pope Benedict XVI. The Neuberger law firm, along with Tom Crumplar, of Jacobs & Crumplar, is representing the three new plaintiffs, all of whom filed anonymously.

In the first, the plaintiff, John Doe No. 8, said the abuse occurred while he attended St. Matthew's. John Doe No. 9 and John Doe No. 10 alleged abuse occurred while they attended St. John the Beloved.
