Brooklyn federal Judge John Gleeson hit Israel Weingarten, 59, with an extra hefty term as punishment for making a spectacle at trial by acting as his own lawyer and cross-examining the victim and other relatives. "It's hard to make a crime like this even worse, but you did it," Gleeson said.
