  Kanawha Pastor Sentenced in Sexual Abuse Case

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A pastor from Kanawha County convicted of sexually abusing teenage boys will spend up to 60 years behind bars.

Sandy Cook was sentenced in a Kanawha County Courtroom Thursday. The judge gave him to 20-60 years in prison.

Cook was convicted back in February of 16 counts of sexual abuse by a parent or guardian and third degree sexual assault.

Police say Cook sexually abused several teenage boys at his home and in his truck back in 1994.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A pastor from Kanawha County convicted of sexually abusing teenage boys is expected to learn his fate on Thursday.

Sandy Cook was convicted back in February of 16 counts of sexual abuse by a parent or guardian and third degree sexual assault.

Police say Cook sexually abused several teenage boys at his home and in his truck back in 1994.

According to the court docket, Cook is set for a sentencing hearing at 9:00 a.m. Thursday.
