Woodhaven --A Downriver priest is expected to be sentenced June 4 in 33rd District Court after pleading no contest Wednesday to a reduced charge of disorderly conduct stemming from an indecent exposure complaint filed by a waitress.

The Rev. Roger Knapp, 57, pastor of St. Victor Catholic Church in Gibraltar, was accused of fondling himself at Amigo's Restaurant in Woodhaven March 26.

Knapp told police he was wiping salsa off is pants.

"Obviously we didn't buy this. We had sufficient information saying otherwise, so we ended up charging him,' said Woodhaven Police Chief Michael Martin.
