Kampala — STATE HOUSE has disowned Annet Kyomuhendo, one of the people accused by Pastor Robert Kayanja of masterminding the sodomy allegations against him.

"State House would like to inform the public that investigations carried out about Annet Kyomuhendo have revealed that she is not part of us," said presidential press secretary Tamale Mirundi on Friday.

Mirundi said State House was not responsible for Kyomuhendo's involvement in the case or any other activity.

"Those who are dealing with her thinking she is a State House employee or acting on behalf of State House are doing so at their own risk," he added.

Pastors Martin Ssempa of Makerere Community Church, Solomon Male of Arise for Christ Ministries, Michael Kyazze, Bob Kayiiira and Annet Kyomuhendo of Omega Healing Centre have been accused of making false allegations against Kayanja.

The five are said to have aided a group of young men to allege that Pastor Kayanja of the Rubaga Miracle Centre sexually abused them.

They denied this.

There have been reports linking Kyomuhendo to State House.

On Thursday, President Yoweri Museveni warned government officials against interfering with investigations into the sodomy allegations.

The President also ordered investigations into allegations that State House officials were interfering with the process of the law.
