  Father Lee Piche Named Auxiliary Bishop

Father Lee Piche has been named by Pope Benedict XVI as an auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis.

Father Piche has served as the archdiocese’s vicar general and moderator of the curia as well as pastor of St. Andrew in St. Paul since last June.

Father Piche previously served as pastor of All Saints in Lakeville from 2005 to 2008 and St. Joseph in West St. Paul from 1999 to 2005.

He has taught on the faculty of the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul as well as at St. Thomas Academy in Mendota Heights.

He was ordained a priest of the archdiocese in 1984, and his first assignment was as parochial vicar at St. Mark in St. Paul.
