Antonio Cortes. The Salinas parish priest is facing child molestation charges related to a 16-year-old “John Doe.” Monterey County Superior Court Judge Terrance Duncan listened to the testimonies to determine whether Cortes will stand trial. Salinas police detective Luis Bravo and computer forensic specialist took to the stand, giving details of the alleged sexual encounter between Cortes and John Doe.
