"For Pete's Sake," a 75 minute presentation of the life of Joseph Capozzi, who wrote the play about his experiences, will be performed at 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, at the Grace Lutheran Church, 65 East Main Street, Mendham. This one-act play is about the effects of clergy sexual abuse on a victim. A donation of $20 is requested and all proceeds will benefit Road to Recovery, Inc., a non-profit charity based in New Jersey. For advance tickets or more information, call Rev. "The Little Foxes," directed by Lillian Hellman will be performed by The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey through June 28, at F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, 36 Madison Avenue, Madison. This is a story of the ambitious, Southern, middle-class Hubbard siblings and their less-than-honorable scheme to become rich even at the expense of destroying their own family. “Seussical” will be performed on June 19, 20, and 21 at the Chatham Community Playhouse in Chatham.

"NINE," a musical presented by The Chester Theatre Group, will be performed from June 26-July 19. This production is the story of Guido, an Italian film director, and the women in his life (81/2), Nine is set to a score by Maury Yeston and a book by Arthur Kopit. Cliff Parrish of Bernardsville is both directing and musical direction with assistance from Jeff Fiorello of Montclair. Mark Happell of Chester is producer and designer. "Seussical," the Theater for Young Audience version and presented by the Chatham Community Players' Fantasy Theater, will be performed at 8 p.m. on June 19 and at 7 p.m. on June 20 and at 3 p.m. on June 20 & 21, at the Chatham Playhouse, 23 North Passaic Avenue, in Chatham. The Cat in the Hat is your host as your favorite Dr. Seuss characters are thrown together for a journey based on many of his best-loved classics. This fast-paced 70-minute version of Seussical has been specially adapted for young audiences but is sure to be enjoyed by Dr. Seuss fans of all ages. Tickets are $12 for patrons of all ages. "Talk Radio," Eric Bogosian's Pulitzer Prize Nominated 1987 Public Theater hit, will be performed at 8 p.m. on June 19, 20, 26, 27 and 28 and also at 2 p.m. on June 21 and 28 at the Brundage Park Playhouse, Carrell Road, Randolph. The action is set in the studio of Cleveland's WTLK Radio over the course of Barry Champlain's furious two-hour broadcast. Tickets are $10. For reservations, please call (973) 989-7092. "The Tempest" by William Shakespeare will be performed by the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey from June 24 through August 2 at the Greek Theatre on the campus of the College of St. Elizabeth, 2 Convent Road (off Madison Avenue/Rt. 124) in Morris Township. AUDITIONS

Oldwick Community Players will be holding auditions for the musical "The Story of Hansel and Gretel" at 7 p.m. on June 22 & 23 at the High Bridge United Methodist Church, 40 Church Street. School age children (grade, middle and high school) should come prepared to sing. Please bring an accompaniment tape or sing acapella. Auditioners will read from the script. This version of the traditional story has a variety of characters. The performances are scheduled for Sept. 11-13 & 18-20 and will be directed by Elaine Powers. In addition to the cast and crew, associate directors (high school and college students) are needed. Playwrights Theatre's Creative Arts Academy summer camp for kids and summer theatre program for teens will begin on Monday, June 22, and run all summer long in two-week sessions through Friday, August 28, at the Playwrights Theater, 33 Green Village Road, Madison.
