Detectives investigating the alleged sexual assault of boys in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s arrested the 47-year-old man last Thursday. "He was charged with an additional six offences. In total, the man now faces 19 offences," police said in a statement. The 19 charges include indecent assault, aggravated indecent assault and inciting a person under the age of 16 to commit indecent acts. "The alleged incidents relating to the latest charges occurred between 1980 and 1991 at Maitland, Muswellbrook, Cessnock, and Windale," police said. The man has been granted bail and is due to face Newcastle Local Court on Wednesday. He was previously charged in February this year.
