	Tomislav Vlasic No Longer a Priest Medjugorje Messenger July 24, 2009 http://crownofstars.blogspot.com/2009/07/tomislav-vlasic-no-longer-priest.html It is reported that Tomislav Vlasic, the Franciscan priest who pastored in Medjugorje from 1981 to 1985, has been laicised and discharged from the Order of Friars Minor. This is confirmed in a statement from José Rodriguez Carballo, Minister General of the Order of Friars Minor, issued from Rome and dated March 10, 2009, and circulated to Provincials in Croatia, Italy and Bosnia & Herzegovina. The request to be laicised came from Tomislav Vlasic and was granted by the Holy Father, Benedict XVI.
