	VOTF Supporters More Than Double Needed Amount Voice of the Faithful August 5, 2009 http://www.votf.org/ Since our emergency request for operating funds on July 13th, Voice of the Faithful has received more than $120,000 from more than 1,200 supporters—more than double the amount we needed to keep the national office open. The positive response overwhelms us, coming as it did in the middle of the summer, in less than three weeks time, and during dreadful economic times. Your generosity underscores a spiritual commitment to our mission and goals, a commitment that encourages us as we prepare to launch Voices in Action, our strategic direction for the next two years. Thank you. And thank you also for your many words of encouragement. Those expressions of support are as meaningful to us as the treasures that you donated. We have posted a few of those comments here —because we all should hear these words of encouragement.
