  Man on Further Charges over Alleged Historical Sexual Assaults at Bathurst Schools

A man will appear in court today to face further charges over alleged historical sexual assaults at Bathurst schools.

Yesterday (Monday 31 August 2009), a 66-year-old man was charged at Downing Centre Local Court in relation to an additional 29 counts of indecently assaulting 11 males and females.

He was granted bail to reappear in Downing Centre Local Court today (Tuesday 1 September 2009).

Strike Force Belle, comprising detectives from Chifley Local Area Command, was formed to investigate allegations of sexual and indecent assaults against students at two secondary colleges at Bathurst between 1960 and 1993.
