Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP) is asking Green Bay Catholic Diocese leaders to help them find people possibly molested by a former teacher at ACES Xavier High School in Appleton.

Monday afternoon the Minnesota director of SNAP met briefly with diocesan leaders outside Xavier High School to hand over a letter asking for possible victims to come forward.

"If you've been harmed by this man, get help. Call the cops. Reach out to those that have some experience," Bob Schwiderski, Minnesota SNAP director, said.

SNAP says Brother Raimond Rose taught at Xavier from 1966 through 1968 and then in Stevens Point, then several schools in Minnesota, California, and North Dakota after that. He's now retired, living in Chicago.

At least one alleged victim filed a civil lawsuit in Minnesota in February naming Rose.

It accuses a high school and two Catholic church organizations of fraud, alleging they knew Rose had molested a child but allowed him to continue teaching.

To date no criminal charges have been filed against rose.

"I've been contacted by people that asked for help that went to school here, yes," Schwiderski said.

Deacon Tim Reilly of the diocese said, "I just heard his name for the first time last night, so this morning we did a check of diocesan records. We don't have any record of any allegation against Mr. Rose at the diocesan level."

Reilly said he'll ask Xavier officials to search their records for any allegations involving Rose and contract police if there are any.

Reilly says the Church is not trying to cover anything up.

"I don't care how long agi it happened. The people that are bleeding are still standing there bleeding," Schwiderski said.

"If anybody does have anything to report, anything that happened in the past, whether its 20 years ago or 43 years ago, we want to hear about it," Reilly said.
