The number is eight, according to court filings. Also, while the amount of the settlements was not disclosed, the diocese did publicly announce that the cases were settled. The story was unclear on that point. •A story on Page A4 Thursday about approval of a horse crematory in Durham listed an incorrect address for the building. The correct address is 593 Wallingford Road.
