Court documents allege the Canada Border Services Agency found three sexually explicit images of young boys on a laptop computer belonging to a former Roman Catholic Bishop.

The unsealed document claims the documents were found during a search by border services agents at the Ottawa International Airport on September 15th.

Bishop Raymond Lahey has been charged with importing and possessing child pornography by Ottawa Police. Lahey arrived at the airport after a trip to the United Kingdom.

The documents say a border agent flagged the former Bishop because he was a single male who had travelled in Southeast Asia, including trips to Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.

It goes on to report that Lahey was asked if he had any electronic devices in his possession, to which he replied that he was carrying two cellphones.

The search warrant alleges the agent asked if he was carrying a laptop and became suspicious when he hesitated before answering "yes."

The Ottawa Police Service was called to the airport after border agents searched the laptop. The search warrant alleges investigators found more graphic photographs of boys as young as eight years old.

None of the allegations in the court documents have been proven in court.
