CORNWALL – The release of the Cornwall Public Inquiry's final report will take place Tuesday at the Ramada Inn in Cornwall.

Inquiry Commissioner Normand Glaude is scheduled to deliver a statement at 11 a.m. in the Simon Fraser Ballroom.

Immediately following the statement, there will be a 30-minute media Q&A session with Commission lead counsel Peter Engelmann, Commission counsel Pierre Dumais, and Phase 2 director of policy Colleen Parrish.

Though limited in supply, copies of the report will be available to the public on-site and online at www.cornwallinquiry.ca

Copies of the report will be available from the Inquiry offices at 709 Cotton Mill St. until Dec. 18. Following that day, the reports will be available for purchase from Publications Ontario at www.serviceontario.ca/publications

The Cornwall Public Inquiry was established by the Government of Ontario on April 14, 2005, under the Public Inquiries Act.

The three-year, nearly $50-million inquiry heard testimony about allegations of historical sexual abuse and the possibility of a pedophile ring.

Glaude's report is expected, in part, to examine the institutional response to the allegations.

The report will also recommend services and programs that will encourage community healing and reconciliation in Cornwall.
