Ireland -- An article in last Monday's edition, concerning Swiss hopes of luring London-based financiers, said that the move was being directed by the Swiss embassy. In fact, the efforts are being made by a number of the country's cantons and not by the federal government.

An article in last Saturday's Magazine on Dr Fin Breatnach said that he was the first paediatric oncologist in Ireland. Other doctors provided a paediatric oncology service prior to his appointment.

An editorial in the edition of November 27th, concerning the Murphy report into clerical sexual abuse in the Dublin archdiocese, said that "the vast majority of uninvolved priests turned a blind eye". This related to those priests who were aware that particular instances of abuse had occured.
