Vermont -- Missouri man accused of telling young women that he needed to touch their pubic areas in order to release sinful spirits gathered there was arrested Friday after violating the conditions of his release laid down by a Vermont district court judge.

Paul Cool, 49, originally pleaded innocent to three counts of felony lewd and lascivious conduct on December 1. Cool allegedly told his accusers, all young women, that he was a priest.

According to the Survivor's Network of Those Abused by Priests, Cool was ordained an elder in the Vermont Mormon Church.

Cool was released from prison on December 4 with conditions that he not leave the state or have contact with any underage girls.

Last week, he was spotted in St. Joseph, not far from one alleged victim.

On December 18, Cool returned to Vermont to face a judge for violating the terms of his release. He was immediately sent back to Vermont's Springfield prison. However, according to correctional officers at that institution contacted by the Pitch, Cool was bailed out the same day. The officers did not know Cool's bail amount.
