	Sexual Abuse Investigation at Daycare WKYT January 7, 2010 http://www.wkyt.com/news/headlines/80869582.html Sources tell 27 Newsfirst an investigation is underway surrounding allegations of sexual abuse of a child at Grace Christian Church's Early Learning Center. The investigation surrounds claims of sexual abuse against a daycare employee, involving a student. Georgetown Police along with the Office of the Inspector General confirm there is an investigation into alleged misconduct at the daycare. "That is a very serious situation," said Timothy Price, whose two children attend the daycare, "ofcourse that concerns me as a parent." Daycare officials released this statement today regarding the investigation: "We are aware of the allegations at Grace Early Learning Center. All appropriate authorized officials have been notified, have been on site, and are working with us to resolve the allegations. We trust this will be resolved in a prompt manner so that we can continue with our mission to provide quality child care services." No charges have been filed in the case. The age of the child involved has not been released. 27 Newsfirst spoke with the Assistant Pastor, who did not want to go on camera, however he says they are cooperating in the investigation.
