Clerical celibacy is a vow that Roman Catholic priests take to abstain from sexual intercourse. The woman, who declined to be named, said she had decided to end the relationship as she suspects that the clergyman might be cheating on her. She told Sunday News that when she fell in love with the priest — who initially identified himself to her as Dingilizwe Msipa — in May 2008, she was not aware that he was a Roman Catholic priest.
