Michael Mulvey, currently Administrator of the Diocese of Austin, as the 8th Bishop of Corpus Christi, succeeding The Most Reverend Edmond Carmody who submitted his letter of resignation one year ago as prescribed by Canon Law. A press conference has been scheduled for 10:00 AM CST this morning in St. Joseph's Hall below Corpus Christi Cathedral to introduce Bishop Elect Mulvey to the media and the community.
