CONWAY, N.H. (AP) -- Four members of a New Hampshire church have been charged with failure to report suspected sexual abuse of a child.

Conway police have charged the associate pastor and three elders of the Valley Christian Church with a misdemeanor charge of failing to report that they suspected a 12-year-old girl affiliated with the church may have been sexually abused.

Police Lt. Joe Faia tells WMWV-FM that the four were 33-year-old Timothy Dillmuth of Stow, Maine, associate pastor; 69-year-old Robert Gagnon and 61-year-old Richard Eland, both of Brownfield, Maine; and 37-year-old Michael Wedge of Conway.

Faia declined to comment further, except to say the four had reason to suspect the child was abused in September.

Trial dates have been set for June.
