Irish survivors of clerical abuse have said a letter from Pope Benedict to Catholics in this country is "years too late".
The pastoral letter from the Vatican is due to published tomorrow and read out at masses across Ireland over the weekend.
It will be the first time ever for a pontiff to address a letter specifically dealing with issues of clerical child sex abuse.
But Christine Buckley of the Aislinn Centre for Victims of Child Abuse has said the Pope's letter "won't change a thing".
