IRELAND -- Reports that the Vatican intends to force Cardinal Sean Brady to resign have been dismissed by his spokesman today.

This morning's papers claimed that the Pope is to seek the Cardinal's resignation over his role in the cover-up of child sex abuse cases.
However, Cardinal Brady's spokesman today said that he would not even dignify the reports with a response and that the Easter Week celebrations were his main priority at the present time.
