	Cardinal Sean Brady Meets with Survivors of Abuse in Armagh Irish Catholic Bishops' Conference March 31, 2010 http://www.catholicbishops.ie/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1663:31-march-2010&catid=17:news As part of an ongoing series of meetings between survivors of sexual abuse by clergy and Catholic Church representatives, Cardinal Sean Brady, Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of All Ireland, today held meetings with survivors of abuse and with groups representing survivors. The following meetings took place separately in Cardinal Brady’s home in Armagh: 9.30 am Mr John Kelly, Mr Patrick Walsh and Ms Marie Seo of Irish SOCA 11.30 am Mrs Marie and Mr Raymond Collins 3.00 pm Mr Michael O’Brien, Right to Peace and Mr Christopher Heaphy of Right of Place The primary purpose of the meetings was for the Church representatives to continue to listen to the views of survivors of abuse in the aftermath of the publication of the Pastoral Letter of the Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, to the Catholics of Ireland. The pastoral letter was published on the 20 March last and please see special feature on www.catholicbishops.ie Also in attendance at today’s meetings were Bishop John McAreavey, Bishop of Dromore, Ms Lucy McCaffrey who is facilitating the ongoing contact between survivors of abuse and the Irish Bishops’ Conference, and Father Timothy Bartlett, Assistant to Cardinal Brady.
