ST. LOUIS (KMOX) -- St. Louis Catholic priest could spend more than 6 years behind bars after being caught in federal sting operation last summer.

Father James Grady pleaded guilty this morning to possessing child porn.

Investigators say they found more than 100 images of girls between the ages of 7 and 17 on his computer, along with search terms consistent with child porn.

The agreement calls for a sentence of 80 months in prison, but that could change during the pre-sentence investigation.

Grady remains free on bond pending a June 25th sentencing.

Grady, who was the pastor of St. Raphael the Archangel in St. Louis was arrested in late July after allegedly showing up at a St. Louis County home to have sex with the 16-year-old girl.

He was charged with attempted sex trafficking of children by force, fraud or coercion.

Further investigation resulted in an additional charge involving possession of child pornography.

Two other men were also picked up in the sting operation.
