The group of Catholics is urging openness and honesty after a sex abuse case rocked the Church in Europe.

Standing outside the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston, a small group of Catholics makes a plea to the church. "Its something we call 'stop the hiding, start the healing,'" says Jennifer Lillie with the Voice of the Faithful.

The group of Catholics is urging openness and honesty after a sex abuse case rocked the Church in Europe.

The explosive allegations say Pope Benedict -- then a Cardinal -- knew about a pedophile priest and did nothing to prevent other kids from being abused. "The Bishops, the Cardinals and the Pope have covered up things," says Julie Raffery, a member of Voice of the faithful.

It's no accident they picked this Holy weekend. Easter is on Sunday -- a day Catholics reflect.

And now even Cardinal Sean O'Malley is reflecting on his blog, defending the Pope: "There is much confusion and misinformation about the Holy Father's historic role in dealing with the problem of sexual abuse of children by clergy."

"What is very clear to me...and I think all who are fair minded, is the Cardinal Ratzinger and later Pope Benedict has been dedicated to eradicating sexual abuse in the church… The hierarchy of the church is so concerned about protecting itself," says Rafferty

Instead these Catholics want to hear from the Pope. They want to know what he knew and when he knew it. They are also asking him to say he's sorry.
