PENNSYLVANIA -- The remains of former Pastor Jose Rosa's body was found by authorities in Union County on Thursday after he had been missing for nearly a year. Investigators say Rosa died after hanging himself.

Family, friends, and search crews made several attempts to locate Rosa since May of 2009 when he was last seen near Lewisburg. The former pastor had been charged with child sex crimes that happened over a period of 5 years.
Investigators say Rosa's body was located in a wooded area in White Deer Township near New Columbia in Union County.
