On Monday, Cardinal Tardisco Bertone, the Vatican's secretary of state, said in Chile that "many psychologists and psychiatrists" had found a "relationship" between homosexuality and paedophilia. "This is an unacceptable association which we condemn," Bernard Valero said, adding that France was committed to fight "discrimination and prejudice based on sexual orientation and gender."
