A Delaware judge has dismissed two priest sexual abuse lawsuits, saying he does not have jurisdiction over Catholic dioceses in Pennsylvania and Maryland.

Judge John Parkins Jr. on Monday granted motions to dismiss filed by the Diocese of Allentown, the Archdiocese of Baltimore, and St. Clare's parish in Maryland.

In one case, a woman claimed she was abused by the late Rev. James McHale when her family lived in Bethlehem, Pa., and that the abuse continued after her family moved to Delaware in 1966.

The other case involved a man who said he was abused by the Rev. Michael Barnes while he was a student at St. Clare school in Essex, Md., and that Barnes also abused him during beach trips to Delaware.
