	Public Defenders Ask Supreme Court Not to Defend Elior Chen Ynet News April 18, 2010 http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3877596,00.html The Public Defender's Office has appealed to the Supreme Court against a District Court decision to appoint a public defender to the case of Elior Chen, charged with multiple counts of severe child abuse. The office claimed Chen has expressed complete faith in his attorney, and that the court therefore had no right to appoint someone else to represent him. (Aviad Glickman)
