Father Barnaby Dowling was caught after detectives linked him to a child pornography ring. The former priest of St Osmund's Church in Salisbury was spared jail when he was sentenced in July 2006 for downloading 116 indecent images of children. On Monday, Dowling appeared at Bristol Magistrates' Court accused of breaching a sexual offences prevention order. It is alleged that he visited four churches in the Salisbury area between April 2009 and January this year - contrary to the restrictions made by the order. The case was adjourned to May 24 for a plea and case management hearing at Bristol Magistrates' Court.
