	Priest Who Served in Chattanooga Is Arrested The Chattanoogan April 20, 2010 http://www.chattanoogan.com/articles/article_173827.asp A retired Catholic priest who formerly served in Chattanooga and recently admitted this week that he sexually abused one of his parishioners in a Kingsport church over 30 years ago has been arrested. Father Bill Casey, 76, has been charged with first-degree sex offense and crime against nature by authorities in McDowell County. Additional charges are expected. He was arrested in Greene County, Tn., and is due to be extradited. The alleged incidents in McDowell County happened while the priest was serving in Kingsport, Tn., officials said. after allegations were made that he sexually assaulted a boy while tending barred from pastoral work. Warren Tucker, an Indiana man, has recently claimed that he was sexually abused by Father Casey after he began serving as a 10-year-old altar boy at St. Dominic Parish in Kingsport, where Father Casey had begun serving in 1976. Father Casey also served as the associate pastor at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in downtown Chattanooga from June 1969 through June 1972.
