The Boonville Daily News reported that Gerald Howard made the requests in motions filed this past week in Cooper County Circuit Court. The documents were filed ahead of a counsel status hearing scheduled for Monday. Howard worked as a priest at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Boonville. He is suspected in multiple sexual assaults from more than two decades ago.
