OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - A lawsuit filed by a former Boy Scout against the Boy Scouts of America and the Lincoln Interfaith Council has been dismissed.

The 21-year-old is referred to only as John Doe in the lawsuit dismissed Friday. An attorney for the man, Kathleen Neary of Lincoln, said Monday that she could not comment on whether the case was settled.

The lawsuit had said John Doe was a child when he was molested by then-Rev. Norman Leach in 2002.

Leach is a former pastor and former director of the Interfaith Council, which sponsored the Scout troop.

In 2004, Leach was sentenced to one year in jail after pleading no contest to third-degree sexual assault.

Another boy molested by Leach reached a private settlement with the Boy Scouts and the council in 2007.
