Chicago - Three men and a teenage boy filed a lawsuit Monday claiming they were sexually abused -- some more than 100 times -- by convicted sex offender and former Roman Catholic priest Daniel McCormack.

Three men -- identified only as 21-year-old John A. Doe, 22-year-old John B. Doe and 23-year-old John D. Doe -- and a 15-year-old boy and his mother claim the Rev. Daniel McCormack had inappropriate sexual contact with boys when they were members of St. Agatha's parish, according to a suit filed in Cook County Circuit Court.

The suit also claims the Archdiocese of Chicago, the Catholic Bishop of Chicago and Cardinal Francis George knew McCormack had "inappropriate sexual conduct" with underage boys while in seminary school at Niles College at Loyola and at the Mundelein seminary and Holy Family parish prior to assigning him as pastor of St. Agatha's parish. At no point did church officials contact the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services or any other government agencies, according to the suit.

The 21-year-old and 22-year-old men claim McCormack "inappropriately sexually touched, rubbed and/or abused him" more than 100 times between 2000 and 2006 while they were students in the schools of St. Agatha's parish, including Our Lady of the Westside Presentation School at 2900 W. Lexington St. in Chicago.

The 23-year-old man claims McCormack had sexual contact with more than 20 times between 2001 and 2005 and the 15-year-old claims McCormack made sexual contact with him between 2004 and 2006.

All four claim they suffered physical and mental pain as a result of McCormack's abuse.

McCormack, 41, pled guilty to five felony counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse in June 2007 and was sentenced to five years in prison, but was paroled after 2 ½ years. The former priest was a teacher and coach at Our Lady of the Westside elementary school.

At least five people have filed lawsuits claiming sexual abuse against McCormack in 2010 -- the most recent on July 8 .

The eight-count suit claims negligence and battery and each person allegedly abused is seeking more than $50,000 plus the cost of the suit from The Archdiocese of Chicago, the Catholic Bishop of Chicago and Cardinal George and an additional $50,0000 plus the cost of the suit from McCormack.

A spokeswoman for the Archdiocese of Chicago was not immediately available for comment Monday evening.
