JAY STREET — A rapper whose pimp game got crossed with the rap game. A triple shooting that left two men dead. And a pedophile Orthodox Jew. These are some of the cases currently underway at Kings County Supreme Court Criminal Term:

Brooklyn Rapper's Trial Begins for Alleged Pimp Shooting

A Brooklyn rapper charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting a rival pimp was on trial Wednesday in Kings County Supreme Court before Justice Joel Goldberg.

Jahmal Bush is a rapper affiliated with the group Heltah Skeltah and known by the rap name "the Rockness Monstah" or "Rock," for short.

The Brooklyn District Attorney's Office charged that in January 2008, Bush shot a Bloods gang member who was also a known pimp in the neck, paralyzing him, due to a dispute over a prostitute.

Rock was released after posting $125,000 bond. According to Wikipedia, it was Rock's manager Ben Aubin who posted the bond for the rapper's release, and he has denied that Rock was moonlighting as a pimp.

Hasid Pleads Guilty to Sodomy

A Brooklyn man from Borough Park's ultra-Orthodox Jewish community was sentenced Wednesday for sexual acts with an underage boy.

Moshe Spitzer was sentenced to two years in prison with 10 years post-release supervision by Kings County Supreme Court Justice Dineen Riviezzo, as part of a plea deal with the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office.

Spitzer, 26, pled guilty in May to 16 counts of sodomy in the second degree, which he was charged with for engaging in deviate sexual intercourse with a person younger than 15.

Spitzer was reportedly 20 years old when he began engaging in oral and/or anal sex with his victim, then 14 years old, in various motels and apartments.

The victim reported the abuse to a Yeshiva principal about four years later and the principal encouraged him to tell his parents, leading to this prosecution.

Defense attorney George Farkas said these were statutory charges that "don't require coercion or force." He said he was satisfied with the plea deal sentence.

Jury Convicts Man in Tire-Shop Shootout

A jury ended deliberations Wednesday in a first-degree murder trial for a 2005 triple-shooting that left two men dead at a tire emporium that reportedly also sold marijuana.

Wayne Martin, 40, was charged with shooting three men during an apparent robbery attempt of Gary's Tire Emporium in East Flatbush, killing two of them, while acting in concert with an unknown accomplice.

Within minutes of being charged by Justice Alan Marrus, the jury had questions for clarification about the alleged robbery that took place on Nov. 27, 2005, at approximately 5 p.m. They asked for a read-back of one witness' testimony regarding the positions of people in the office at the back of the tire shop.

"[Gary] was having a drink and the defendant came barging in … with a gun held high," the court reporter read back to jurors, referring to Donald "Gary" Turner, who was shot in the leg and abdomen during the robbery and died.

The jury deliberated ony five hours Wednesday before returning a guilty verdict. The testimony indicated that the defendant shouted, "Hands up! Turn around!" and mumbled something about "selling that s---," while holding a gun pointed at Gary and Donald "Baby" Turner Jr., a witness who testified at trial.

Turner Jr. was shot non-fatally and later had an aneurysm, which led to a lengthy hospitalization. Martin is charged with assault for that shooting.

Ricardo Davids, another employee of the tire shop, was shot and died out in front of the shop. A second person who Martin allegedly acted in concert with during robbery was never arrested or identified.

Martin was arrested in Philadelphia in October 2007 on an outstanding parole warrant and extradited to New York. He was officially arrested and charged with the robbery of Gary's in September 2008. Prosecutor Marc Fliedner and defense attorney Steve Chaiken were counsel at this trial.

Man Appears in Court Charged With Shooting Wife

A Brooklyn man who allegedly shot his wife in the middle of the street in broad daylight appeared for a pretrial hearing Wednesday before Kings County Supreme Court Justice Matthew J. D'Emic.

Lenox Ramsay, 20, is charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting wife Kaidan Ramsay as he chased her into the street near the campus of Medgar Evers College, where she was a student.

Horrifying security camera footage of the September 2009 incident showed a man chasing Kaidan down Carroll Street in Crown Heights screaming, "I got a gun, don't f--- with me!" The shooter fired warning shots into the air and then shot her twice in the back in front of a crowd of passersby.

She survived the shootings. Ramsay allegedly was convinced she was having an affair with another student.

Ramsay, who was employed as a security guard, allegedly then tried to escape by car-jacking a vehicle at Nostrand Avenue but was arrested when police arrived.

Defense attorney Howard Kirsch said Wednesday's pretrial was a status conference to plan out scheduling for hearings or to see if his client was interested in a plea.

Kirsch said he wasn't aware if the couple was still married.

"I don't handle divorces," he said.

Alleged Pedophile Officer Charged With Abduction and Abuse

A state Department of Correction officer who is charged with sexually abusing a 5-year-old boy was scheduled for a pretrial hearing in Kings County Supreme Court Wednesday.

Dashawn Holloway worked at Sing Sing Correctional Facility in Westchester County. He allegedly grabbed the child somewhere in Brooklyn.

He is charged with sexual abuse, as well as second-degree burglary (sexually motivated) for allegedly grabbing the young boy.

Kings County Supreme Court Justice Elizabeth Foley is presiding over the case
